Live@StMarks

Dear friends and supporters of Live@StMark's,
News may have reached you by now of the ferocious fire that took place on the night of 26/27 January at St. Mark's. Even at this early stage the damage to this historic Grade-II listed building has been enormous. The Live team is of course devastated to see the damage wrought on our beautiful venue, which is home to such a fabulous and supportive community of musicians and audience, which has also included the Rachmaninoff Music Academy and the Queen's Park Singers.

One of the treasures destroyed by the fire was a beautiful Fazioli piano, which belonged to our friends at the Rachmaninoff Music Academy, who frequently performed in the church. If you wish to make a donation to support their fundraising efforts you can do so here.

Live@StMark's is a concert series in Maida Vale at St. Mark's Hamilton Terrace supporting emerging artists, drawn from London's top music colleges and in the early stages of their performing careers. Recitals take place on the second Wednesday of each month.

The resident ensemble Peregrine Orchestra, conducted by Daniel Collins, perform large-scale works throughout the year; they are complemented by the resident choir the St. Mark's Singers.
